The Energy Non-Crisis by Lindsey Williams

I present this video & link to his book here for your assimilation – see if it fits. I do not know what is being presented is wacko conspiracies or truth. Perhaps elements of both.

Whatever, listen to Lindsey Williams talk about his first hand knowledge of Alaskan oil reserves larger than any on earth. He also mentions about how the oil companies and U.S. government will not send the oil through the pipeline for U.S. citizens to use.

Santa Cruz Island Eaglets Attacked & Rescued

Yesterday two eaglets at the Nature Conservancy’s Santa Cruz Island Pelican Harbor nest were dramatically attacked by another eagle. This nest has a live web cam viewing the chicks at all times. An alert viewer of the cam notified Santa Cruz Island biologists. After rushing to the site the biologists found the eaglets alive but injured. One has a fractured wing and the other a broken beak. Today, both appear to be doing well – having been feed and also getting some needed sleep.

Watch the video (9 minutes) of this attack and hear the biologists speaking into the web cam as they make the rescue:

Today is World Hepatitis Awareness Day

Today, May 19th, 2008, is the fifth annual World Hepatitis Awareness Day. Statistically, 500 million people are infected with either Hepatitis B or Hepatitis C. That’s one out of 12 people worldwide. We must encourage testing for early diagnosis, for early treatment increases the odds of a successful outcome.
