This 415' unique fluted cliff made of Gowanda shale is located opposite of the famed Blue Boat Beach on the main branch of the Cattaraugus Creek, facing due north the sun does not dawn its face. This cliff is know as the second highest cliff in Western New York State, second only to Letchworth State Park Canyon's 550' cliff.
