Sharply turning canyon located on the south branch of Cattaraugus Creek. At 380 feet deep this is the highest canyon the the south branch. In, 2007 while hiking with my son Frank Jr. we had the privilege of seeing a Bald Eagle flying 30 feet above the creek. It soared to hundreds of feet before I could get a picture of it.
The complete east side bank of the creek is private property. The MUA ends at the end of the first turn on the West bank.
