Collection of King James Bible verses that encourage & challenge

I read my Bible every day. I read a section of the Old Testament, the New Testament, Psalms & Proverbs. I joined Facebook back yonder on the 24th of October 2009.  I have posted below many verses that have “stuck out” to me while doing this reading on my Facebook page.

I would like to make Bible verse posters and desktop backgrounds out of many of these over the coming months using pictures I have taken over the years. Here is a collection of the 88 verses I have posted to date, they are in no particular order:

 

  • “In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.” (Proverbs 19:10)
  • “As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.” (Proverbs 11:19)
  • “Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.” (Psalm 62:1-2)
