The 23rd Psalm – The Believers Comfort

2011-05-09_13-07-54_187.jpgThe LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

America is no longer a great nation!

There is NO NATION that has to borrow money to run their country that can be considered a great nation. America is in ruins – we are no longer a great nation of freedom, we are slaves!

“The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.” (Proverbs 22:7)

Exercise, It is NOT a curse word Frank!

I know, I know – so winter has been tough on this body. “Operation ditch the bad of cement” was doing great till winter and the holiday season hit. Then January, with the many family birthday parties came, and a proper diet went out the window. Okay, time to get with it now, spring is here. Felt good just do up a mile on the tread mill, time was 17 minutes – a start.

I did loose that bag of cement (48 pounds) by July 26th of last year but over the winter 17 pounds sadly came back. Time to get serious again. At 238 I am too BIG to enjoy things as I should. I could never stand it if I got back to the 269 I started at.

So much time behind this computer does not help. Time to explore the woods of WNY again, with my camera in hand of course!

There public confession is over!

Collection of King James Bible verses that encourage & challenge

I read my Bible every day. I read a section of the Old Testament, the New Testament, Psalms & Proverbs. I joined Facebook back yonder on the 24th of October 2009.  I have posted below many verses that have “stuck out” to me while doing this reading on my Facebook page.

I would like to make Bible verse posters and desktop backgrounds out of many of these over the coming months using pictures I have taken over the years. Here is a collection of the 88 verses I have posted to date, they are in no particular order:
