2007 was a good year overall for us! We learned much and realized we still have more to learn. Some people let us down this year. Yet others rose above “friend” to true friend. We are looking forward to a great 2008…

Merry Christmas all. Remember Jesus, he is why we have hope!
The Christmas Gift
by Vicki Porter
It should have been a palace
Where the Blessed Baby lay,
In a cradle’s warmth and comfort-
Not a manger filled with hay,
For He was Himself Creator
Of the heavens and the earth,
But He’d left His Throne of Glory
For a lowly, earthly birth.
There was nothing made He had not made
But most incomprehensively,
He had laid aside His Royal Crown
To save lost humanity!
He knew rejection from the world
When His life had just begun,
For no comfort, warmth, or shelter
Were offered God’s Own Son.
And in His earthly ministry
He received few men’s esteem
Although He’d come to heal and help
and a fallen world redeem.
The Scriptures tell us He was rich,
But became, for our sakes, poor-
That we, through grace, might be rich-
And could enter Heaven’s Door.
Yes, it should have been a palace
Where the Blessed Baby lay
But salvation’s gift was humbly brought
To a manger filled with hay.
Live it up, but someday there will be a payday? What will yours be like?

Have not posted a picture of James in a while so here he is at 2 months 4 days old:
A blond woman was speeding down the road in her little red sports car and was pulled over by a woman police officer who was also a blond. The blond cop asked to see the blonde driver’s license. She dug through her purse and was getting progressively more agitated. “What does it look like?” she finally asked. The policewoman replied, “It’s square and it has your picture on it.” The driver finally found a square mirror in her purse, looked at it and handed it to the policewoman. “Here it is,” she said. The blond officer looked at the mirror, then handed it back saying, “Okay, you can go. I didn’t realize you were a cop.”
Not a big joke fan, but I am trying to be, this one was sent to me by a friend recently and I laughed – though maybe you would too.
Ex Liberal Senator (not ex in the money he is still shamefully raking in from the American people through his should be criminal pension) George Mitchell’s report on performance enhancing drug use in Major League Baseball was released yesterday. The report is full on innuendo and hearsay. Little did the ex senator care about names he has slandered and stained via his report. Based simply on words of some very unstable and shaky people. What should we come to expect from liberal Democrats whose own survival as politicians are based on these very same tactics. The could never have been elected to office on the principles they stood for thus they had to tear down others. Truth be told Senator Mitchell is himself very much complicit in millions of murders. I do believe murder is a stronger case than athletes taking drugs to “so-called” improve their performance. Where is the Mitchell Report on the modern day holocaust of which he is a major architect (the killing of millions of innocent children)? Bloody hands have they (read my article Bloody Hands on this subject) and are in no position to make judgment on fellow Americans.
Even if these allegations, innuendo, hearsay and rumor are true – Ex-Senator George Mitchell has used a method that is unbecoming of decency, yet expected of his ilk, that does more damage than it helps. He owes apologies to many people.
The Mitchell Report in its method is a shame! A shame on the ex senator.
I publicly call on him to apologize to those he has slandered based on material that would never hold up in a court of law.
